Better known for rock climbing, Smith Rock has plenty to offer mountain bikers. Riding surface ranges from well graded gravel roads to steep & technical single track. Which ever path you choose will most likely lead you to incredible rock formations where you'll be able to view many nearby volcanos across the fertile farmlands that lay in the valley below. To get here, drive Highway 97 nine miles northeast of Redmond (near Bend) and follow the signs that will lead you to the park. From there, enjoy the Smith Rock State Park Loop
