Hood River, Oregon - Oregon Mountain Biking
Hood river & Mt. Hood Hood are simply amazing. Hood River (AKA The Gorge) is best known for it's wind. In fact, windsurfers have literally taken over this once sleepy town. For those more interested in the mountain riding, Hood River also happens to be a gateway to Mt Hood.
As you head east towards Mount Hood, you'll find some of the best singletrack the NW has to offer. Two of the premier rides are Surveryor's Ridge and the Dog River Trail.
Both trails are well maintained, but are physically demanding. Along both rides you will be treated to many view points overlooking the Hood River Valley and Mt. Hood.
