Mountain Bike Resource - Trails - Pritchet Canyon Ride Summary
Ride Description
This ride can be done as an out and back, or looped up with Hunters Canyon Trail for the return portion. The climb up Pritchett Canyon will be challenging as you ride on a variety of surfaces. Along the way you will have opportunities to view arches, petroglyphs and ruins.
Directions To Trailhead
You can drive, or bike from Moab to the trailhead. To get here from Moab, head southwest until you find Kane Creek Road. Turn left onto Kane Creek Road and follow it along the Colorado river until you reach the unposted trailhead for the Pritchett Canyon Trail at mile 4.6. Park your pick-up car and continue back to Moab. Once in Moab, get on HWY 191 and head south for about 13 miles and look for a posted dirt spur road on your right. Park here at the trailhead.
