Mountain Bike Resource - Trails - Slickrock Ride Summary
Ride Description
Quite possibly the world's most popular mountain bike trail, Slickrock is what most people think of when they think about Moab. Compared to other rides in the area though, Slickrock is more of a riding playground. This does not mean that it is not a great place to ride. In fact, Slickrock's proximity to town and unique terrain make it the obvious way to become acquainted with the area.
The great thing about Slickrock is that you can ride it however you like. Stay on the main path or explore any one of the countless side trips. Either way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to put your abilities to the test.
NOTE: A small day use fee is charged for this area.
Directions To Trailhead
From Moab, take the Sand Flats road as it climbs up from town for a few miles. The park's enterance and parking lot are on the left side of the road.
